This external speaker has a standard 1/4" male headphone jack and will work with many models of metal detectors. It has no built in amplifier or battery and so runs off the detector battery. It may be used in conjuction with the DeTacc PLUS signal amp or it can be used alone with the Minelab GPX-4500/4800/5000 units which have their own amplifier built into the battery. New slimline version is only 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" and 1" thick. Has a clip to snap onto a belt, suspender, or strap. |
