A "petite" version of our larger mortar and pestle that is just the right size to pack up and take out in the field with you. This is what you want if you have a rock that you think might have gold in it, most commonly quartz. Crush the rock and grind it in this mortar and pestle set and then pan the material in a gold pan. Measures a mini 3-1/4" high and 3-3/4" wide.
