This wide mouth clear plastic vial is 2-1/8" tall by 1" wide and holds about 4 ounces of small gold. It is an ideal size for use as a nugget vial when metal detecting. This vial is roughly the size of a film canister and has a similar snap-on lid. The plastic is very clear and is quite tough compared to glass, but it will shatter if you step on it.
