If you are not using an automatic gold panner chances are you are losing gold and wasting valuable time. Gold wheels are ideal for reducing large amounts of concentrate to a super-concentrated state and ultimately to a clean gold product. This 12V powered automatic panner can run for up to 8 hours off a car battery (not included). It only weighs 25 pounds and can be set up in minutes. Water can be drawn directly from a stream or pond using the included 12V pump, or water can be supplied via a garden hose if used at home. Small gasoline pumps can also be substituted for field use. One popular method is to use tubs or 5 gallon buckets (not provided) to recirculate water where water is scarce, but for best results clean water should be used. The 18" diameter bowl employs a double angle progressive riffle design and is far more effective than smaller gold wheels due to the larger riffle area. Having a larger bowl is like having a larger sluice box... you get more riffle to work the concentrate before it reaches the center of the bowl. The bowl is fully adjustable for angle, and the spray bar has an adjustable water flow, which combine with the dual speed 12V motor to provide optimum gold recovery.
