This Coiltek optional power system is for the Minelab SD and GP detectors. It features light weight Lithium Ion batteries and weighs only 14 ounces, making this battery system so light that many people are attaching it directly to the control box in lieu of the standard Minelab backpack mounted battery. This is great for times when you'd like to eliminate that power cord being attached to your body, like when detecting in thick brush. The system includes two (2) 7800 mAh Batteries, one (1) switchable regulator (6.7 volt for GP or 7.3 for SD series machines), an AC / DC Charger, so you can charge in your car or at home, and a Cordura Nylon Carry Pouch, to attach the battery system to your belt or detector. If you attach the battery to the control box it is recommended you purchase the Coiltek short power cord (part number MLBA-CL22) for use instead of the standard Minelab power cord. Please note that this system will not work with the GPX-4000 or GPX-4500.
