This new Coiltek optional power system is for the Minelab GPX-4000 and GPX-4500 detectors. It features light weight Lithium Ion batteries and weighs only 14 ounces, making this battery system so light that many people are attaching it directly to the control box in lieu of the standard Minelab backpack mounted battery. This is great for times when you'd like to eliminate that power cord being attached to your body, like when detecting in thick brush. The system includes two (2) 7800 mAh Batteries, one (1) regulator, an AC / DC Charger, so you can charge in your car or at home, and a Cordura Nylon Carry Pouch, to attach the battery system to your belt or detector. Also included is a short power lead for use when you want to attached the battery directly to the detector. Please note that this system will not work with any detector except the Minelab GPX-4000.
