This special 7mm neoprene hood is designed for drysuit use in cold water and has a rear zipper for ease of donning. The 5mm neck has smooth inner seal, designed to help seal to the neck seal on most drysuits. The face opening is also 5mm material but uses TWIN-SKIN that is smooth inside and out. The smooth inner seal is to help prevent water circulation when used with a regular face mask. The smooth outer seal facilitates effective sealing when used with a full face mask. A unique vent design allows the release of air trapped at the rear top of the head, as often happens when using a full face mask. On the very top of the hood there is a radar and light reflective patch for added safety. The zipper is in the back and has an inner neoprene gusset to prevent water circulation thru the zipper.
