This special 6.5mm neoprene hood designed for drysuit use in cold water and has a rear zipper for ease of donning. The 3mm neck has smooth inner seal, designed to help seal to the neck seal on most drysuits. The face opening is also 3mm material and is smaller than normal to allow for custom trimming, and has a smooth inner seal to help prevent water circulation. A unique vent design allows the release of air trapped at the top of the head, as often happens when air leaks past the neck seal of a drysuit. The body of the hood is 6.5mm neoprene sided inside and out with nylon. The zipper is in the back and has a 2mm inner neoprene gusset to prevent water circulation thru the zipper.
