New 15" Coil for Fisher F75
I have a Fisher F75 Special Edition I got last spring, and it has turned into one of my main machines. I used it to find nuggets at Moore Creek, nuggets at Ganes Creek, even nuggets in California. Most of my finds in the UK were also made with the F75.
So I was wowed when Fisher announced today a lightweight 15" DD coil for the F75. The F75 is already one of the deepest VLF gold units on the market and with this coil in mild ground I have no doubt it is going to outdetect other VLF units. I know that what I will be swinging at Ganes Creek this summer will be the F75 Special Edition with this coil in All Metal Boost mode.
The coil has a MSRP of $299 and will probably hit the streets at $255. It only weighs two pounds and comes with a scuff cover. Only downside yet is there probably will not be many available until April. I have some on order so we will see how long it takes to get some.

That is good to hear. Let us know when they arrive and I will pick one up also.
I have not had my F75 LTD out nugget hunting yet.
Just sold my GMT and am going to use the F75 as my main VLF machine.
(have a Goldmaster DD shooter coil available by the way if someone is interested)
Do you always run in All metal Boost mode Steve?
Boost mode to powerful in some areas?
I wondering if the JE mode would be beneficial in any form of nugget hunting.

Hi Steve,
Would the 15" DD coil work as well on my older F75? Does the new F75 SE work better at finding nuggets that the older F75?
You have been finding gold nuggets at Moor Creek and Ganes Creek, with the F75. Are you finding them in tailings, if not where? I have been getting information that most nuggets are found in tailings of the old worked out mines.
Any help will be appeciated.
Thank, bullseye

Hi Manicminer. How many thousands per inch would that piece of gold measure, or fraction of an inch at widest point?
Thanks
