Mike,
Well I have two boxes on the plant. One 12" the other 24", this was from an experiment I was doing using different size screen sections. I no longer do that but I just never changed the boxes. The main box is 24". The other 12" box rarely catches anything, less than 1%.
Not sure how much water I am running. I just watch the boxes and see how they are performing. I'd guess abt 500 gpm.Dick Hammond - Chicken / Stonehouse Creek Mining

There is an ad on Craigslist (Fairbanks) for a 17 foot section that the seller says he "discovered" while he was cleaning out his back yard! Love to get in that backyard! no price. There is another in Big Lake that the seller wants 50.00/L.F. also on Craigslist. They both claim to be AK pipeline stock but I have looked at three pieces in the last year that the seller claimed were from the pipeline that was just 48 inch pipe no big deal . I purchased pipe from Air Liquides yard in Wasilla a few years ago at a very reasonable price. with no charge for cutting the lengths I wanted

Finally got my trommel.. it's only a Denver Gold Saver but it sure is nice. A geologist from the BLM has already asked me if I'd be interested in selling it, he told me that optimal water pressure is about 20gpm, still trying to figure it out. Don't think I'm ready to sell it just yet.

I found it's really hard to find much info on these machines, according to the BLM they said the proper water flow is around 20gpm and you can't buy parts for them anymore so you'll have to manufacture your own. I put a Le Trap sluice coming off the chute but need to have a side chute made up otherwise the tailings will drop right into the Le Trap. Unfortunately the proper water flow for the Denver Gold Saver isn't enough for the LeTrap sluice.
Do you have pictures of yours? What info are you needing?
