Royal Enfield Motorcycles
This is in response to an earlier query by Jeff in ME. We recently became dealer for Royal Enfield Motorcycles. I've got a page up HERE that I will be expanding soon as I get more information. But here are photos of a couple units currently in our showroom.
First up is the Bullet Classic G5, I like this bike - looks like something out of WW2. Price is $6799 plus $249 for setup, documentation, and registration so $7048 out the door.
Next up is the Bullet Classic C5. This unit without the sidecar is $6995 plus $249 for setup, documentation, and registration so $7244 out the door. Or $10248 with sidecar.

Hi Steve,
I too like the green one. Here's a video of the bike I found on YouTube. I hope you don't mind me posting this here. It gives people a chance to see the bike from different angles, and hear it running.
Note: I couldn't post the actual video, it only showed up as code.

Hi Jeff,
I fixed the link. When you are on YouTube, there is a "Share" button under the video. Click it and a box will pop up with the code you need to copy and paste. Thanks for posting the video!Last edited by Steve Herschbach; 03-10-2010 at 07:54 PM.

Thanks, Steve.
I'll eventually figure out how this sites codes work, and how codes work with this site.

Sweet sounding bike too. It has a nice sort of rounded full exhaust tone. I have a Royal Enfield story from back when I was 15 years old in 1961.
My dad had a motorcycle mechanic friend from the neighborhood tavern. The mechanic had a new 1961 Royal Enfield Constellation 700 cc twin and offered to take me for a ride. He went to a long stretch of straight lonesome road and yelled hang on and opened it up. He stopped a couple miles later to have a smoke so I asked how fast. He said only about 110 because it is still stock and there was 2 of us. That is as fast as I have ever been on a motorcycle and it was to fast for me. I've been at 130 mph in a sports car and that was exciting. For me that motorcycle at 110 mph was beyond exciting and pretty durn scary. I just held on and made sure I didn't move because I knew that could be a very bad thing to do.
Constellation 700.jpg....1961 Royal Enfield Constellation 700 cc twin. In 1961 it was Royal Enfield's big bike. They came out with the 750cc in 1962. That is what I read online anyway, I am not any kind of bike expert.
