Default Placer diamond picture ,enlarged like 20x or more, from central Indiana

My friend had this diamond in his dredge cons altho a friend of his actually found it over the winter a couple years ago and recovered it.Actual size is like slightly larger than a pinhead I am told. Sure does look nice in this blow up, now if it were only the size of a pea and Chuck would be rich?
I fergot to give credit to Chuck Lassiter in Indiana...

A very cool find indeed, but if it were the size of a pea, he could buy a cup of coffee at McDonalds.

That stone is industrial grade and if dug in a diamond mine, it would be set aside for crushing as diamond grit. Grit is worth a couple bucks a carat. A pea sized stone would be around a carat, hence he could afford a nice cup of coffee at Mickey Dees.

However, like the rest of the world, I still go on underrating men of gold and glorifying men of mica. Commonplace human nature cannot rise above that." -- Mark Twain
