Minelab GP 3500

The new Minelab GP 3500 is the successor to the Minelab GP 3000. Alaska Mining & Diving Supply is no longer stocking the GP 3500 but instead now is stocking the NEW Minelab GPX-4000. We feel the GPX-4000 has new features that will ultimately prove to make it the best unit made by Minelab for use in the United States and Alaska in particular. The new lithium ion battery on the new GPX-4000 alone is worth the difference in price between the GPX-4000 and GP-3500. For those looking for Minelab power while not wishing to spend as much as these top-of-the-line units cost, we recommend the Minelab SD 2200v2. This page is being left in place for reference purposes for the time being.

The Minelab GP 3500 incorporates all the features of the previous models, plus it features enhanced ground balancing, which maximizes depth in all ground conditions. The new Stable Threshold Technology will give you clearer, sharper target signals without distracting background noise. The newly designed battery bag and harness give you improved comfort.

Plus all the advantages you've come to expect from Minelab metal sensing technology:

Dual Voltage Technology (DVT) - provides increased depth and sensitivity compared to other transmit technology.
All Metal Mode / Discrimination - choose between all metal search mode or adjustable iron discriminate in areas of excessive junk.
Automatic Tune Control - with the push of a button external interference is minimized.
Manual Tune Control - for fine tuning to get optimal performance.
NEW “Quick-Trak” Button - for remote Ground Balance “Tracking “ and “Fixed” mode!
NEW 3 Speed Tracking - FAST, MEDIUM and SLOW Modes!
Soil Condition Switch - normal, sensitive or salt modes allow you to optimize the "timing" to suit specific target sizes and soil conditions.
Coil Switch - Double D, Mono or Cancel modes  changes the search pattern of the coil to suit varied conditions.
Boost Amplifier - a built in control that makes faint signals easier to hear.
Individual Controls - separate volume, threshold, tone and signal controls allows you to customize settings to suit your needs.
Smart Point: Built in Diagnostic Port - the Smart Point allows Minelab engineers to test and verify your GP 3500  is optimized for maximum performance before it leaves the factory. (Smart Point can be used by authorized Minelab Service Technicians to test your GP 3500 at any time to ensure it is tuned to help you find more gold.)
