Items may be ordered online using the following buttons:

1. Press the button to add an item to your "shopping cart". Be sure to choose a shipping option.

2. Press the button to review or modify your order.

3. Press the button to enter your payment information. Press the "Submit" button to send the order.

4. You're done! An automatic confirmation will be sent to you via email. If you do not receive the confirmation, there has been a problem with the order process. The most common problem is that the email address entered was incorrect, so the confirmation notice cannot reach you. If you do not receive a confirmation notice, send an email to orders@akmining.com for to verify that your order has been received. We will not ship an order until we have valid contact information from you.

This system is available for a limited number of items at this time, but is being expanded across our product lines. It lends itself well to mailable items, but larger items such as boats and snowmobiles require more personal interaction. These types of items will require you to Contact Us! to make a purchase. In general, only items that are mailable are offered for sale outside of the State of Alaska.

Shipping: Items ordered on our website are sent via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx Ground at discounted rates. Orders under $50.00 will have a $7.50 Small Order Fee added. Orders placed by phone or mail will incur regular shipping and handling charges that will usually be higher.

Below is a more detailed explanation of the online ordering system:

Our new Secure Online Ordering System allows you the convenience of placing your order with Alaska Mining & Diving Supply from the comfort of your home! Your order information is encrypted to prevent unauthorized access to your order information, particularly credit card numbers. There are options for online, mail, and fax orders.

All items available for online ordering are marked with a graphic button:   Pressing the "Add to Your Shopping Cart" button adds the item to your online shopping cart. Your order is not processed until you go to the check-out page, so feel free to try out the system without fear of placing an unwanted order. You can add, delete, and change items at any time.

Be sure and choose a shipping option. This way the system can calculate and keep you informed of the shipping and handling charges while you shop. There will be no "surprise" shipping charges when you go to checkout. Please note that on orders of less than $50.00, a $7.50 small order fee will be applied. This is because we are paying all or part of the shipping and handling charges on most items ordered from our website. Unfortunately, the economics of this do not work out on small orders, so the additional fee must be charged.

You can view the contents of your shopping cart at any time by pressing the "View Your Shopping Cart" button:  This button will show your your current order and allow you to make changes.

When you are ready to process your order press the "Go To Checkout Now" button:   You will still have the chance to change or not place your order. Your order will not be processed until you fill out the required information and submit the order.

Try the system out! It is fun, and you can cancel an order in progress at any time. No order is placed until after you press the submit button after filling out all the required information, such as name and address. In fact, the system will not let you place an online order unless all the required information is filled out first.

All orders will be confirmed by email. You may still cancel your order as long as you email your cancellation before the order ships. We try to ship all orders within 24 hours, so you must act quickly if you wish to cancel your order.

If you have security concerns about placing credit card orders over the Internet, remember that the system can be used to generate a printed order form you can mail or fax. Try it! If you use this option, nothing is actually sent to us, so if you simply throw it away, no harm is done. For other advertised items, or to simply make a payment, use our Secure Online Payment Form.
